Some Trend Micro components stopped working.
How to Fix It
- Restart Trend Micro Components:
- Press the Windows ⊞ and R keys to open the Run window.
- Type supporttool.exe and click OK.
- Click Yes if a prompt appears.
- The Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit will open. Click the (C) Uninstall tab.
- Click 5. Stop all parts.
- Wait 10 seconds or until the Trend Micro icon disappears.
- Click 4. Start all parts.
- Try updating Trend Micro Security again.
- Turn Off Mute Mode:
- Open Trend Micro and click the Device tab.
- Click Configure next to Mute Mode. If a page appears, click OK.
- Click the switch to turn off Mute Mode.
- Click OK to save changes.
- Try updating Trend Micro Security again.
