Fix 0x96000018 Activation Error Code on Trend Micro for Windows

You see error while activating your Trend Micro program on Windows.

"Error Code: 0x96000018"

What Happened?

Your Trend Micro program is outdated.

Update your Trend Micro program.

Right-click the Trend Micro icon in the taskbar notification area, then select Check for Program Updates.
NOTE: If you cannot see it, click the Show hidden icons arrow ^ next to the notification area.

The About Your Software window will appear and check for available updates.
Click Close after seeing Components are up-to-date.
