You may follow these steps if you are having an issue with your Bluetooth device connecting to your Mac.

  1. Open Finder , then click Go on the menu bar at the top. Choose Go to Folder from the menu options.

  2. From the Go to Folder window, type in /Library/Preferences then click Go.

  3. The Preferences folder will appear. Find com.apple.Bluetooth.plist and move this to trash.

    If you are not comfortable moving it directly to trash since this is a system file, you may copy the file to your desktop and then delete the original one. In this way, you will still have a copy of the original file.

  4. Restart your Mac and reconnect your Bluetooth devices.

    If the issue is now okay, you may now delete the copy of the original file saved on your desktop.
