Trend Micro needs more permissions to make certain changes on your computer.
How do I adjust my UAC settings?
- Press Windows + S on your keyboard to open the Search bar.
- Type Change User Account Control settings and select it from the search results.
- Adjust the slider to the Default level: "Notify me only when programs try to make changes to my computer", then click OK.
- Click Yes when prompted by the "User Account Control" window.
- Remember to save your work or bookmark any open tabs.
- Restart your computer to apply the changes.
- Run a Trend Micro scan again to ensure the settings are optimized.
