You've encountered the following error message while installing Trend Micro on your Windows computer:
"Your computer does not meet the installation requirements for the software that you wish to install."
Why Did This Happen?
Your CPU does not support SSE2 instruction set which is enabled by default in Visual Studio 2012. Trend Micro needs Visual Studio 2012 for its graphical user interface.
You may have these CPU installed on your computer:
- AMD CPUs prior to Athlon 64 (including all Socket A based CPUs)
- Intel CPUs prior to Pentium 4
- VIA C3
- Transmeta Crusoe
