Your Antivirus for Mac keeps on detecting a threat from an email attachment and does not delete it.

Why did this happen?

The default action for email attachments is set to Ignore. The file is not deleted, and is detected in every scan.

How do I fix this?

Delete the detected email manually:

  1. Manually delete the email message with the malicious attachment.
  2. Run a scan with Antivirus for Mac.

    It is recommended to keep Trend Micro Antivirus for Mac running in the background. It deletes malicious attachment when you open them to keep you safe and eliminate the need to manually delete them.
