After installing Trend Micro Antivirus, or after using it for some time, you may notice that the Trend Micro icon is missing from your macOS menu bar or isn’t visible.

Why can’t I see the Trend Micro icon on the menu bar?

Sometimes, the Trend Micro icon doesn’t appear on the menu bar because your screen resolution is set too high. When this happens, there may not be enough space to show all menu bar icons, so some—like Trend Micro—can be hidden.
The good news is that this is easy to fix by adjusting your display settings.

  1. Open the Trend Micro Antivirus app
    After opening it, check the menu bar at the top of your screen to see if the icon appears.
  2. If you still don’t see the icon, click the Apple menu
