When you try to download and install Trend Micro Security from your Trend Micro Account, you might see one of these error codes:

"Installation Incomplete. Error code #1603, 3003, 0x00000000"

Why did this happen?

Trend Micro could not set up an important part or component needed to complete the installation.

What should I do next?

  1. Go to the Trend Micro MyAccount page.
  2. Sign in to your Trend Micro Account.
  3. Go to the Downloads tab and click Download under Maximum Security.
    NOTE: Don’t run the installer yet.
  4. Log in to your computer using an administrator account.
  5. Click the Start button, then go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  6. Click Check for updates.
  7. Restart your computer after the updates are done.
    NOTE: Make sure there are no update errors, as these can affect the installation.
  8. After restarting, run the Trend Micro installer you downloaded.
