What’s the Problem?
- If you use Trend Micro ID Protection on your Android device, the Autofill feature does not work in the Google Chrome browser.
- You can still use Autofill in the ID Protection app.
- Other browsers may support Autofill features.
- This issue only happens in Chrome on Android.
Why Is This Happening?
Google made changes to Chrome that stop apps like ID Protection from using the Autofill feature in the browser.
What Does This Mean for You?
- You cannot use Autofill in Chrome on your Android device.
- Your saved logins, notes, and data are still safe in ID Protection.
- Autofill works fine in the ID Protection app and in other browsers.
What Can I Do Now?
While waiting for Google to fix the problem, you can:
- Open websites directly in the ID Protection app and use Autofill there.
- Try using a different browser that supports Autofill with ID Protection.
