If Trend Micro still displays a Trial Version message even after you've entered your activation code, there may be a few reasons behind this issue. Here are the most common causes and how to fix them:

  1. Use the correct account during activation.
    Your subscription is linked to the Trend Micro account used during activation. If you activated the product using one account and then signed into the software with a different account, the system may still show the trial version.
    1. Make sure you're signed into the correct Trend Micro account—the one used to activate the license.
    2. You can check your account at: https://account.trendmicro.com.
  2. Properly activate your subscription.
    Sometimes, the activation process may not complete successfully if the activation code hasn't been registered to the app, which may cause it to still show a trial version.
    1. Open your Trend Micro app, then click the Expiry Date.
    2. The Subscription Information window will appear. Click Change Your Activation Code.
    3. Enter your new activation code, then follow the remaining steps to complete the activation.
