Why did this happen?

Your account was not recognized by the system during activation due to a system issue.

How do I fix this?

Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Activation Portal, then click the Get Started button.
  2. Create a Trend Micro Account using your email address or phone number.
    • If you already have an existing Trend Micro Account, sign in instead, skip the next steps, and proceed to step 6.
  3. Provide a secure password, then click Next.
  4. Enter your first and last name to complete your profile, then click Next.
  5. Enter your activation code, agree to the Trend Micro License Agreement, and click Next.
  6. Once activated, it will redirect you to your own Trend Micro Account Downloads Page to install the apps and programs you purchased.
