How to Change Default Browser on Mac

Follow these simple steps to change your default browser on a Mac computer.

For macOS Ventura or Later

1. Click the Apple menu in the corner of your screen and select System Settings.
2. In the sidebar, click on Desktop & Dock.
3. Scroll down on the right side and select your preferred web browser from the Default web browser menu.

For Earlier Versions of macOS

1. Click the Apple menu in the corner of your screen and select System Preferences.
2. Click on General.
3. Choose your preferred web browser from the Default web browser menu.
