Follow these steps to uninstall Kaspersky, remove any remaining files, and install Trend Micro Security on your device without any errors.

Uninstall Kaspersky

  1. On your keyboard, Hold Windows Icon and press R key ro open Run Box.
  2. Type APPWIZ.CPL then press OK to open Program and features.
  3. Look for Kaspersky and Right Click it then tap Uninstall.
  4. Wait for the uninstallation process.

Remove Remnant files of Kaspersky

  1. Check these folders and delete Kaspersky if it's there:
      2. Program Files
      Program Files (86)
      App Data (check Local, Local Llow, Roaming)
      Program Data

Install Trend Micro Security

  1. Open your Browser.
  2. Go to Trend.com/quick.
  3. Download your preferred Trend Micro Security App (Maximum Security, Internet Security or Antivirus + Security).
  4. Open the Downloaded File.
  5. Let the Installation process proceed.
  6. Once the tab for Activation Code showed up, Please enter your Serial Number or Activation and it should be all upper case. Then click Apply or OK.
  7. Once installed, Open Trend Micro Security.
  8. If the status is Not Activated, Please click Activate Now below the status of Not Activated.
