Below are the steps you can follow to save a copy of the email you received.

  1. Open Gmail on your browser.
  2. Open the email you want to save.
  3. Click ⋮ at the top right.
  4. Click <> Show original.
  5. On the new page, click Download Original.
  6. Confirm the .eml file is downloading to your computer.
