How to Change Profile on Chrome

A profile on Chrome is a separate space that keeps your bookmarks, history, passwords, and settings organized. It allows multiple users to have their own personalized browsing experience on the same browser. Here are the simple steps to change profiles on Google Chrome:

On a Computer

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Click the Profile Icon at the top right corner of the Chrome window.
3. Click Manage Profile next to Other Profile (look for the gear icon).
4. From the list of accounts, tap on the account you want to switch to. If the account isn't listed, you can add it by tapping Add.

On a Mobile Device

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Tap ⋮ then tap Settings.
3. Under You and Google, tap on your account name or email address.
