You see this Error Message when trying to install and activate Trend Miro on your Mac:

Please Provide Proper Serial Number

Why did this happen?

You already have an installed Trend Micro and is in Trial Version.

How do I fix this?

Activate your Trend Micro Serial Number on the installed program.

  1. At the top right of the Menu Bar, look for a Trend Micro icon.
  2. Click the icon and select Open Trend Micro Antivirus...
  3. On the lower right of the Main Menu, click the Expiration Date.
  4. On the Subscription Information, click Change Serial Number.
  5. Enter the Serial Number and click Done after.
