Why is this happening?
This issue happens because of the following reasons:
- Your device has no Internet connection.
- There are other VPN apps installed.
- Your network is unstable.
- Your network does not allow VPN connections.
How can I fix this?
To fix this issue, do the following:
Connect to the Internet
Connect to a secure and reliable network before using Trend Micro VPN.
Remove other VPN or network-monitoring apps
It's best to avoid installing other network-monitoring apps, as this could lead to issues and compatibility problems.
- Check your apps and uninstall any other VPN or network-monitoring applications.
- To ensure that the app will work properly, we recommend removing Trend Micro VPN too.
- Restart your device, then Install Trend Micro VPN again.
Connect to a different network
Sometimes networks may prevent or slow down certain network requests, or this could be a temporary problem with your network. If the problem persists:
- Try using a different Wi-Fi or switch to mobile data.
- Wait a few moments before using the program again in case there are temporary network issues.
- Contact your internet service provider (ISP) for further assistance.
