When you install the app or program downloaded from your Trend Micro account, you may notice that the instructions or installer are not in English.

What Caused This Issue?

This often occurs because your account profile is missing important details. Specifically, you did not include your country or location in the Profile Information.

How to Fix the Language Issue

Follow these steps to complete your profile information:

  1. Go to My Trend Micro Account. Visit https://account.trendmicro.com/.
  2. Sign In. Enter your email address and password, then click Sign In.
  3. Update Your Profile.
    1. Click the Profile tab.
    2. Under PERSONAL INFORMATION, select the Edit Profile button.
    3. Fill out all required information, especially your Location.
    4. Click Save to confirm your changes.
  4. Sign in again. Click on your Profile Name at the top right, then choose Sign Out. After signing out, sign in again.
  5. Download the app.. Select the Download tab. then click the Download button of the app or program you had trouble with.
