The Trend Micro Privacy Scanner does not appear when checking your Facebook, LinkedIn or X (formerly Twitter) Privacy Settings.

Why did this happen?

The Trend Micro Toolbar is not enabled on the browser you are using.

How do I fix this?

Manually enable the toolbar:

  1. Open Trend Micro Antivirus.
  2. Click the Web tab.
  3. Select the Web Threat Protection tab.
  4. Put a check beside Enable Toolbar on Web Browser.
  5. Open your browser and make sure the Trend Micro Toolbar now appears.
