You cannot open the app because it is either outdated, damaged, or corrupted. Follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
- Check System Requirements

Verify that your device is compatible with the latest version of Mobile Security by ensuring it meets the required system specifications.
- Check for Mobile Security Updates

- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap the Profile Icon in the top-right corner.
- Tap Manage apps & device.
- Go to the Manage tab to view the installed apps.
- Scroll down and find Mobile Security.
- If an update is available, tap Update.
- Once the update is complete, reopen Mobile Security.
- Reinstall Mobile Security

Step 1: Uninstall Mobile Security
Choose one of the following methods to uninstall the app:
- Via App Drawer/Home Screen:
- Tap and hold the Mobile Security app located in the app drawer or on the home screen.
- Tap Uninstall and confirm the action.
- Via Device Settings:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Apps (or App Manager).
- Find and tap Trend Micro Mobile Security.
- Tap Uninstall, then confirm.
Step 2: Install Mobile Security
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- In the Search bar, type "Trend Micro Mobile Security", then tap 🔍.
- Tap Install.
- Wait for the installation to finish, then tap Open.
- Read the Privacy and Personal Data Collection Disclosure, tap I agree to share user usage data to help improve this app, then tap Accept and Continue.
- At the lower-right corner, tap Buy / Activate.
- Reactivate your subscription:
- Use an Activation Code(Find your activation code)
- Sign In to Use Existing License(Log in with your Trend Micro Account)
