You see this notification on the Trend Micro Home Network Security app:

"OS Command Injection"

Why did this happen?

An OS Command Injection attack was blocked on a home network that is using a D-Link DSL-2750B device.

A command injection is an attack that executes arbitrary commands on the host operating system, via a vulnerable application.

What are its risks?

Attackers could remotely read or write memory on vulnerable router devices without prior authentication. With this, it is possible to upload and execute a backdoor to compromise a device.

What should I do next?

Always make sure your router is updated to the latest firmware. Show me how.

What if I have more questions?
