You see this error message when installing Trend Micro on Windows:
"Incompatible Software Found.
Please try to install Trend Micro Security again after removing the following programs from this computer."
What Happened?
The installer cannot remove a conflicting third-party security software.
How To Fix It
Download and Install Trend Micro Troubleshooting Tool:
- Download the Trend Micro Troubleshooting Tool and save it on your desktop.
- Double-click airsupport_downloader.exe to run the program.
- Click Yes when the User Account Control window appears.
- Read the License Agreement, then click Agree and Install.
The Trend Micro Troubleshooting Tool window will appear.
- Contact Trend Micro Support for the Support Case Token Number.
- Enter the Support Case Token Number the Technical Support Engineer provided, then click Connect.
