You may receive an error message or encounter issues while loading online games after connecting Home Network Security to your home network. Here's how to fix it:


Enable Mode 3
  1. Open your Home Network Security app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon, then select Settings.

  4. Under STATION NETWORK SETTINGS, select Mode 3.

  5. Tap OK to update the Station settings.
  6. Test the connectivity status, 5 minutes after changing settings. Tap on Test Status.

  7. Tap on Test This Device. Make sure that your device is connected to the same network with the Home Network Security.
Enable Game Mode
  1. Open your Home Network Security app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon, then select Settings.
  3. Tap Station Configuration.
  4. Toggle the switch to ON for Game Mode.

Add the device to Unmanaged Devices

Adding a device to Unmanaged Devices List will remove the Trend Micro protection.

  1. Open your Home Network Security app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon, then select Settings.
  3. Under STATION, tap Unmanaged Devices.
  4. Tap Add Devices.
  5. Under Manage Devices, tap the + icon next to the device that you want to add.
  6. Tap the < icon to save the changes.
