Fix Activation Error Code 0x0c000007b From Trend Micro

You see this error message when opening your Trend Micro program:

"The Application was unable to start correctly (0x0c000007b)."

What Happened?

Your computer has corrupted or outdated Microsoft Windows components.

How To Fix It

1. Go to the Visual C++ Download website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ph/download/details.aspx?id=30679.
2. Click the Download button.
3. Put a check on the following files from the list:
   • VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe
   • VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe
4. Click Next. Wait for the download to finish.
5. Double-click VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe to run and install the file.
6. Double-click VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe to run and install the file.
7. Restart your computer.
8. After restarting, open the program again.
