How to configure Network and Security settings (Home Network Security)

Learn how to enable or disable the Network and Security settings of your Home Network Security app.

These settings are applied to all of the devices connected to the network.

Configure Network and Security Settings

1. On your mobile device, open Home Network Security app.
2. Tap the Menu icon.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Configure the following features:
   Expand All

   Threat Blocking

   Network Protection

   To enable/disable the feature, toggle the switch to turn it on/off.

   
   Internal Attack Blocking

   To enable/disable the feature, toggle the switch to turn it on/off.

   
   Web Threat Protection

   • Turn on/off the following features by tapping the toggle button
     • Dangerous Websites Blocked
     • Dangerous Files Blocked
   • To add websites on the Approved List, click Add a new website, enter the website you want to add, and then click Done to save it.

   Access Control

   Remote Access Protection

   • To enable the Block Remote Access, toggle the switch to turn it on.
   • To add a remote access program on the Approved List:
     1. Click Add Program.
     2. Choose on what remote access you want to allow access.
     3. Select the devices to approve the remote access program, and then click the + icon.
     4. Click Done to save the changes.

   New Device Approval

   To enable/disable the feature, toggle the switch to turn it on/off.

   Device Scan

   Turn on/off the following features by tapping the toggle button:

   • Password Check
   • Vulnerability Check
