Why Did This Happen?

This issue occurs because the Home Network Security app retrieves the user token from other Trend Micro products installed on your device. A conflict or app issue with the token retrieval can trigger this error.

What Should I Do Next?

  1. On your Android device, open Device Settings.
  2. Tap on Connections, then tap Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap the three dots on the upper right corner, then select Intelligent Wi-Fi.
  4. Toggle off the switch for Detect Suspicious Networks.
  5. After disabling the Detect Suspicious Networks setting, turn off the Wi-Fi connection and wait for at least 5 minutes before turning it back on.
  6. Open the Home Network Security app, pair the station, then sign in.
