Adjusting the font size on an iPhone or iPad is quite straightforward. Here are the two (2) ways you can follow:

Via Display & Brightness

Open the Settings app, then tap Display & Brightness.
Go to Text Size, and use the Slider to adjust the font size.

Via Accessbility

Open the Settings app, then tap Accessbility/.
Go to Display & Text Size, then tap Larger Text.
Use the Slider to adjust the font size.
