Why did this happen?

This happens due to a corrupted Trend Micro Security component.

What should I do next?

STEP 1: Delete Trend Micro Security Toolbar/Extension.

STEP 2: Uninstall Trend Micro Security Software.

  1. Log onto your computer using an account with administrator privileges.
  2. Download the Remnant File Remover Tool (known as Uninstall Tool) HERE.
  3. Double-click Ti_1790_win_en_Tool_UninstallTool_hfb0002.exe to run it.
  4. Click I accept the terms of the license agreement, then click Next.
  5. Click Install.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Restart your computer.

STEP 3: Re-install Trend Micro Program.
