How is this program different from WinZip?
WinZip can manage files on your PC, network, and cloud. However, Unarchiver only extends to extraction and compression functions and is a basic tool.
Is this paid or free?
Free for cross-promotion, we don’t have a plan for a paid version.
What are the supported operating systems?
Only support Windows 10 (version 18362) or higher.
What are the file types that it can compress and extract?
For compress we only support compress file to zip file.
For extract we can do for these format: .zip, .7z, .rar, .cab, .tar, .bz2, .bzip, .gz, .xz
Is there any know file type that it cannot compress and extract?
We can’t extract .iso, .chm, .hxs, .chw files and for compress we only support compress file to zip format.
Where can the user find the installer?
You may install the Unarchiver One from the Microsoft Store.
