You encountered this message when trying to set up the accessiblity permission for Trend Micro Mobile Security in your phone:

"An app has blocked the permission request interface, the setting apps cannot verify your responses, turn off assistive ball or all other function that causing the issue."

Why did this Happen?

The Smart Sidebar feature of Oppo is blocking the accessibility permission of the app.

How do I fix this?

Disable Smart Sidebar feature on the phone settings.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll down and look for Special Features or Convenience Tools.

    NOTE: The location of Smart sidebar may vary based on the version and model of your phone.

  3. Tap Smart Sidebar.
  4. Tap the toggle switch beside the Smart sidebar to disable off toggle switch.
  5. Open Trend Micro Mobile Security.
  6. Set up again Accessibility Permission by selecting a feature on the app, then follow the guide to enable Accessiblity Permission on the settings.
