You noticed that you are no longer receiving Security Reports emails from your Trend Micro Security for Windows.

Why is this happening?

You are probably using an old version of the program.

What should I do next?

Upgrade to the latest version of Trend Micro Security to start receiving Security Reports again.

  1. Check if your computer meets the minimum system requirements.
  2. Go to https://account.trendmicro.com/download.
  3. Enter your email address and password to sign in.

    You will see the Downloads section of your Trend Micro Account page.

  4. Click the Download button under your Trend Micro Security subscription.

  5. Click the Download button under Download to This Device. A new tab will open to download the installer.
  6. Double-click the downloaded file to run the installer.

    If the User Account Control window appears, click Yes.

  7. Click Yes when asked to remove the old program version.
  8. Click Restart Now when prompted to reboot your computer.
  9. After restarting, wait for at least five (5) minutes or until you see the Trend Micro installer window.
  10. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.

Is upgrading my program to the latest version FREE?

It is FREE as long as your subscription is not expired.
