This article teaches you how to check up and fix network issues of devices connected to Trend Micro Home Network Security.
Windows PC
- On your keyboard, press Windows ⊞ + R keys at the same time to open the Run window.
- Type cmd, then click OK. This will open the Command Prompt.
- Type ping www.trendmicro.com, then press ENTER.
- Check the results.
If there are lost packets, your Internet connection is not stable. Follow the remaining steps.
- Type ipconfig /flushdns, then press ENTER.
- Wait for the message saying the DNS has been flushed, then check if your connection has improved.
- Go to Applications > Utilities > Network Utility.
- Select Ping, then type in any valid website (example: trendmicro.com).
- Check the results.
If there are lost packets, your Internet connection is not stable.
