Listed are known product issues and limitations of Trend Micro ID Protection. These will be monitored and addressed on the next release.

Unable to Activate Multiple ID Protection Subscriptions

Issue: When trying to activate a second or multiple Trend Micro ID Protection subscriptions, you may encounter the error: "System Undergoing Maintenance Error Code: 1010054."
It occurs because the email address you used to activate your Trend Micro ID Protection is already linked to a subscription that includes Trend Micro ID Protection.

Workaround

  1. Contact our Technical Support for assistance on how to add your paid Trend Micro ID Protection license to the existing one.

Account Switching on Mobile Devices

Issue: When you try to switch accounts in the Trend Micro ID Protection app on Android while using Chrome, it keeps logging you back into the same account. This issue is occurring in Version 37 of the Trend Micro ID Protection Web Portal.

Workaround

  1. Sign out of your Trend Micro Account from the Chrome browser on your Android device.
  2. Tap Sign in or Sign in to another account in the app to proceed with a different account.

Monitoring Another Social Media Account

Issue: Currently, Trend Micro ID Protection allows monitoring of only one account per social media platform at a time. To monitor a different Facebook account, follow these steps:

Workaround

  1. Uninstall the Trend Micro ID Protection app.
  2. Download and install Trend Micro ID Protection app again.
  3. Set up the new Facebook account you want to monitor.
